GoKurious is made for children, so it is built to collect nothing.

What we store

On your device only: favourites, completed simulators, your chosen class and whether you dismissed the install banner. These live in your browser’s local storage and never leave the device.
Offline cache: pages you visit are cached by the browser (service worker) so they work offline.

What we do not do

Sign in with Google: the first three simulators need no account at all (we only keep a list of which ones you opened, in your browser). After that, playing more requires signing in with a Google account. Google confirms your name, email address and profile picture to our server, which stores them with your sign-in dates and your favourites and completed simulators in the GoKurious database, so your progress follows you across devices. Sign out ends the session on that device. No passwords are ever handled by this site. To delete your account data, email us from the same address.
No advertising, no social-media embeds.
Usage statistics: we use Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js, property G-258WX1NBPN) to count page views and which simulators are used, in aggregate, so we can improve the site. It sets Google cookies; you can block it with your browser settings or a content blocker and the site works exactly the same.
No web fonts or external assets, so nothing is loaded from other companies’ servers.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and reliability for a limited time.

Clear my data

Tap the button below to sign out and remove all GoKurious data from this device (favourites, progress, settings). To delete your account and progress from our database as well, email us from the same address.
